EMT/Paramedic

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated EMTs and Paramedics to join our team and provide excellent patient care in a clinical setting. This role involves assisting in patient flow, gathering patient information, and supporting patient care under the direction of healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

+ For EMT: Collect and convey patient health status information throughout the visit, including entering data into electronic medical records.

+ Assist patients with activities of daily living and preparation for examinations and imaging studies.

+ Optimize patient flow in the clinical setting.

+ Utilize medical equipment such as oxygen and suction devices, and perform CPR and other procedures as required.

+ For Paramedics: Provide patient care at the level of Paramedic Missouri Licensure.

+ Assist providers with follow-up documentation and communication with patients' guardians or medical providers.

+ Perform EKGs, splinting, crutch fitting, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing.

Essential Skills

+ Emergency Medical Technician certification.

+ Paramedic certification.

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ For EMT: High School Diploma with successful completion of the Missouri EMT-B training program required.

+ State of Missouri EMT License upon hire.

+ BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

+ 1 year of EMT-B experience in an ambulance service or hospital setting is preferred.

+ For Paramedics: High School Diploma or equivalent.

+ Completion of an accredited Paramedic Training Program.

+ Missouri Paramedic License upon hire.

+ ACLS, PALS or PEARS certification, and CPI course within 90 days of hire.

+ 1 year of paramedic experience is preferred.

Work Environment

The role is based in a clinic setting with all shifts available, including full-time, part-time, and PRN. Shift options include 5-8's, 4-10's, and 3-12 hour shifts. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $35.00/hr.
