Job Title: Project EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a Project Engineer with a focus on commercial construction, specifically in power distribution, lighting systems, and low-voltage systems such as fire alarms, security systems, and data cabling. The role involves managing panels, transformers, and switchgear, while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local safety standards.

Responsibilities

+ Manage the electrical construction of a $250M project for a new data center.

+ Oversee power distribution, lighting installations, and low-voltage systems.

+ Ensure all electrical components, including panels, transformers, and switchgear, are properly installed and operational.

+ Prepare and manage electrical submittals.

+ Adhere to and enforce NEC and local safety standards.

+ Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 1 year of commercial electrical experience.

+ Experience with electrical submittals.

+ Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office.

+ Strong understanding of electrical systems in commercial projects such as data centers and hospitals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience managing large commercial or complex electrical projects.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Construction management skills.

The role is based at the Google Data Center located off USA Parkway. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55900.00 - $82992.00/yr.
