Description

Our client in Holyoke, MA, is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in payroll processing and billing, ensuring timely and accurate management of payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable state/federal regulations.

+ Manage and reconcile payroll data, including timecards, benefits, and deductions.

+ Take ownership of billing operations, including preparing invoices, reviewing client billings for accuracy, and resolving discrepancies.

+ Maintain organized payroll and billing records, ensuring easy retrieval of data.

+ Collaborate with internal teams to address payroll and billing-related inquiries.

+ Ensure compliance with tax requirements and other payroll-related legal regulations.

Requirements

+ Previous experience processing payroll, ideally with multi-state or complex payroll systems.

+ Demonstrated billing experience, preferably in a corporate or client-driven environment.

+ Knowledge of payroll software and systems; experience with platforms like ADP or Paychex is strongly preferred.

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

+ Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
