Job Title: RF Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled RF Technician to work with RF products, utilizing network analyzers, documenting yields, and logging parts into the ERP system. The role involves RF electronics testing and script writing.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct engineering and production tests to meet quality standards.
+ Set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components.
+ Recognize failures and setup issues; determine corrective actions.
+ Operate and program automated test stations and custom test fixtures.
+ Prepare test specifications and written procedures for acceptance testing.
+ Record detailed information in job data books or logs.
+ Assemble final test data packages to meet customer specifications.
+ Maintain lab cleanliness, inventory, and documentation.
+ Comply with all safety and security protocols.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency with spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and RF test equipment.
+ Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing RF electronics.
+ Experience with network analyzers and signal generators.
+ Ability to interpret and work with schematics and test procedures.
+ Knowledge of wireless networks, radio, and microwave technologies.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ For Level I: 1+ year of relevant experience or training.
+ For Level III: Associate degree or equivalent from a technical school.
+ 5+ years of hands-on experience in testing and troubleshooting.
+ Proficiency in test equipment setup, programming, and prototype testing.
+ Strong computer skills.

Work Environment
The role is based in a lab environment where you will work alongside Senior RF Technicians and interact with the manufacturing floor. The work hours are from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, including a half-hour lunch break. There is potential for transitioning to a second shift in the future.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Maria, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
