Job Title: Laser Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our team. You will play a crucial role in setting up and operating laser machinery, with programming skills being a significant advantage. The position requires collaboration with the engineering team to calculate flat layouts and manage multiple setups efficiently. Quality control is essential, as you will ensure that all processes meet our high standards.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate laser machinery, with programming as an added advantage.

+ Collaborate with engineering to calculate flat layouts for production.

+ Manage multiple setups effectively and efficiently.

+ Perform quality checks throughout all stages of the production process.

+ Provide first and last pieces to the quality department for inspection.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in laser operation and setup.

+ Proficiency in using press brake machinery.

+ Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.

+ Familiarity with calipers and micrometers for precise measurements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ At least 1 year of experience with Multi Axis and Setup of a brake press.

+ Experience with Cincinnati machinery is a plus.

This position is within a metal stamping production company. You will work in a collaborative team environment focused on precision and quality. The role offers a structured work setting with opportunities to work with advanced machinery and technology.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mankato, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
