Job Title: DT-EVS Tech
Job Description
You will be responsible for cleaning non-occupied patient rooms, ensuring they are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. Each room takes an average of 20-30 minutes to clean and requires deep cleaning, including making the bed, flipping the mattress, and handling linens. You will also clean isolation rooms, following strict safety measures and wearing protective gear.
Responsibilities
+ Clean non-occupied patient rooms thoroughly, ensuring deep cleaning and disinfection.
+ Make beds and flip mattresses.
+ Handle linens by placing them into a large, heavy bag and managing its disposal.
+ Clean isolation rooms with strict safety measures, including wearing full protective gear.
+ Thoroughly mop and clean entire rooms using a string mop.
+ Work on a rotating weekend schedule.
Essential Skills
+ Strong attendance record.
+ Punctuality and reliability in working required hours and shifts.
+ Excellent communication skills for interaction with patients, nurses, doctors, and the housekeeping team.
+ Exceptional customer service skills, including handling difficult individuals.
+ Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and push 200 lbs.
+ 6 months of previous hospital/hotel cleaning/housekeeping experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Direct experience in hospitals is an advantage.

Work Environment
The position is set in a hospital environment, requiring self-motivation as you will often work independently. Candidates should adhere to the dress code, which includes no facial piercings, covered tattoos, and avoiding heavy fragrances. The role involves rotating weekend shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.75 - $18.00/hr.
