    Job Title: Mobile Engineer

     

    

    Job Description

    The main function of a Mobile Engineer is to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across multiple facilities. This role requires technical expertise in one craft area such as **Electrical, HVAC, Piping/Plumbing, or Central Utility Plant Operations** , and multi-skilled proficiency in others.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform maintenance, monitoring repairs to the Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems for the facility to keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards.

    + Travel between multiple facilities to ensure their proper function.

    + Maintain responsibility for facility services, preventative maintenance, purchasing and inventory control, contracted maintenance, general maintenance, and technical proficiency.

    + Clean, inspect, calibrate, and change parts to maintain HVAC systems and associated equipment at optimum performance levels.

    + Record readings and make adjustments where necessary to ensure proper operation of equipment.

    + Comply with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials; maintain a clean and safe workplace.

    + Perform periodic checks of tool and instrument inventory.

    + Monitor the quality and pricing of maintenance work performed by outside contractors.

    + Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas.

    + Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.

    Essential Skills

    + High School Diploma or Equivalent.

    + **5-7 years of experience in maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.**

    + Ability to analyze the operation of various Commercial or Industrial Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective action.

    + **EPA 608 Type II Certification.**

    + Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel.

    + Valid driver’s license.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + EPA 608 Universal Certification is preferred.

    + Two years of trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration, and HVAC.

    Work Environment

     

    Work primarily involves maintaining and repairing systems within commercial buildings. The role requires travel between multiple facilities and adherence to safety protocols. The use of various tools and equipment is part of the daily duties.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Reno, Nevada.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $31.00/hr.
