**Field Diesel Technician - $45/Hour - Start ASAP!**

Pay: $30-$45/hour

Hours: 8AM - 4:30PM M-F

_Join a well-established heavy equipment organization as a Field Diesel Technician. Based in Rapid City, SD, you will work with industry-leading brands and gain valuable experience while expanding your skill set. Responsibilities

+ Perform service tasks as assigned by the Service Manager or the Shop Foreman in a safe and efficient manner.

+ Stay updated with changes in various models of equipment sold and serviced.

+ Report warranty situations in complete detail.

+ Maintain a clean and orderly immediate work area.

+ Inform the Service Manager or Shop Foreman of any additional work required on a unit.

+ Notify Service Manager or Shop Foreman if shop equipment or vehicle is not in serviceable condition or constitutes a safety hazard.

+ Return tools to the crib at the end of each shift in a clean condition.

+ Keep service bulletins and parts literature current and orderly.

+ Conduct yourself in a manner that retains a good opinion of the company and the service department in the presence of customers.

+ Take advantage of opportunities to attend schools and training sessions to upgrade technical competence.

Skills

+ Experience with diesel engines and heavy equipment.

+ Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and electrical systems.

+ Proficiency in mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance.

+ Ability to perform heavy lifting and bending.

+ Basic computer skills.

+ Experience in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

+ Good communication skills for reporting and customer interactions.

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
