Job Title: Yard Laborer with WEEKLY pay!

Job Description

Work outdoors from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with an hour for lunch. The role involves inspecting and inventorying totaled vehicles sent by insurance companies, in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

+ Visually inspect totaled vehicles and conduct inventory, noting the condition of glass, body panels, and interior components.

+ Attempt to start vehicles and use a battery pack if necessary to jump-start them.

+ Enter inventory information using a handheld device similar to a tablet.

+ Work independently in the yard with minimal supervision, with support available via handheld radio.

Essential Skills

+ Experience using a smartphone or tablet.

+ Basic car knowledge, including familiarity with fenders, bumpers, hoods, trunks, and car interiors.

+ Basic computer skills.

+ High school diploma or GED.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ General labor experience.

+ Experience in construction or outdoor labor is beneficial.

+ Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a three-day training program.

Work Environment

This is an outside job conducted in the yard, with breaks and lunch taken indoors. During severe weather, additional breaks are provided. Employees are required to provide their own clothing, including jeans and steel-toe footwear, with no large logos or offensive prints. The workplace is located in the Aliquippa area industrial park, featuring a clean and open office space with only three employees onsite.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
