    Job Title: Assembler

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Assembler to work in a production cell environment, focusing on testing, building, and packaging electro-mechanical products. The role requires proficiency in assembly, handling small parts, and using hand tools to ensure product quality and readiness for shipment.

    Responsibilities

    + Test and package electro-mechanical products.

    + Perform basic go/no-go testing of circuit boards.

    + Conduct wire bonding and RF soldering for sub-assemblies.

    + Follow visual and written instructions to add customer-specific components.

    + Package products and prepare them for shipping.

    + Notify material handlers of part shortages.

    + Lift up to 35 lbs.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with assembly and handling small parts.

    + Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

    + Ability to perform basic tests and soldering.

    + Experience in mechanical assembly and packaging.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Strong understanding of English.

    + Basic computer skills.

    + Background in production of small parts.

    + Ability to provide references for the last 5 jobs or 7 years of employment.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a lean manufacturing, kan-ban, and production cell environment with ESD protocol. The Red Team handles traditional PCB building, including board stuffing, hand-add soldering, SMT, and Wave soldering. The Orange Team is a quiet, focused group, while the Blue Team requires a flexible personality for team rotation.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, Oregon.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
