Machine Operator - 21/hr

Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate basic screen printers, ensuring proper screen alignment and loading sheets.

+ Inspect sheets as they move through the machine and unload them once processed.

+ Clean machines thoroughly, including vacuuming and wiping down surfaces.

+ Operate the LasX laser machine using computer programs, load sheets, and inspect them visually.

+ Adjust machine parameters such as x-axis, y-axis, and rotation if prints are misaligned.

+ Set up and operate the Sakurai machine by adjusting screens, inks, and powder levels.

+ Troubleshoot product defects by adjusting ink levels, tool placements, and machine speeds.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in machine operation and setup.

+ Proficiency in computer operation and visual inspection.

+ Troubleshooting skills to address machine and product defects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with flexo or printing presses.

+ Direct experience with Sakurai brand machines.

+ Knowledge of flexography and screen printing techniques.

Work Environment

The work environment is warmer but not hot, and safety is a priority with required safety shoes, ear protection, and eye protection. Most of the job involves sitting, but standing for extended periods is also necessary. You are allowed to listen to music with headphones, but phones are not permitted in production areas. The position requires working the 3rd shift from 12 am to 7 pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
