Job Title: 2pm Put Away
Job Description
Join our team as a 2pm Put Away specialist, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement and distribution of merchandise within our warehouse facilities. You will work under direct supervision to receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products.
Responsibilities
+ Generate manifest to dispatch and confirm customer and/or stock orders.
+ Interpret various warehouse documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
+ Open cartons, sort merchandise, and relocate merchandise from receiving or production areas to other designated areas.
+ Verify merchandise documentation and record incoming merchandise by part and quantity.
+ Organize and place merchandise on racks, shelves, totes, or bins according to pre-determined sequences.
+ Prepare products for distribution within facilities.
+ Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on palettes, shelves, or conveyors to send to packing station or shipping department.
+ Arrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
+ Create and enter records for the manifest on warehouse computer system.
Essential Skills
+ Fluent in English: ability to read, write, and speak.
+ Familiarity with warehouse operations, material handling, picking, packing, and shipping.
+ Ability to operate an RF scanner.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 0-6 months of warehouse experience preferred.
+ No certification required, will certify on CROWN trucks upon permanent hire.

Work Environment
Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with narrow aisles where forklifts and hand carts navigate safely. It is a non-climate controlled environment and requires closed-toe shoes. Please note that cellphones and electronics are not permitted in the warehouse.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flower Mound, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
