    RF Diagnostic Technician

    Job Description

    As a Diagnostic Technician, you will play a critical role in testing and inspecting electrical and electronic sub-assemblies and assemblies across all product lines. Your expertise will be essential in programming firmware and troubleshooting digital, RF/mixed signal assemblies to the component level.

    Responsibilities

    + Test and inspect basic electrical and electronic sub-assemblies and assemblies across all product lines and program firmware.

    + Perform technical responsibilities on the assigned line with a high degree of proficiency.

    + Troubleshoot digital and RF/mixed signal assemblies to the subassembly component level using schematics, diagrams, naval publications, and engineering blueprints.

    + Set up and operate a wide variety of test equipment including DMM, voltmeters, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and wave generators.

    + Program firmware on boards and individual Integrated Circuits.

    + Run tests in the factory, properly connect test equipment, and determine if the stack or product is having issues, while keeping management informed.

    Essential Skills

    + 2 to 4 years of manufacturing electro/mechanical test experience.

    + Proficient in RF testing knowledge.

    + Experience with electronics and radio test requirements.

    + Working knowledge of surface mount technology.

    + Ability to understand basic digital electronic signals, power supply circuitry, frequency and wave signals and circuits, and basic control signals and circuits.

    + Knowledge of engineering data such as specification control drawing and source control drawing.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + U.S. Citizenship required.

    + Proficiency in computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook. SAP S/4 preferred but not required.

    + Excellent verbal and written communications – Fluent in English.

    + Ability to comply with all company guidelines, policies, procedures, and embrace company core values.

    + Understanding of ERP Systems.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
