Job Title: NDT Quality Test Specialist (Non-Destructive Test) Level II
Job Description
We are seeking a Level II NDT Quality Test Specialist with expertise in non-destructive testing methods for aircraft and related components. This role involves working with Magnetic Particle, Penetrant, Eddy Current, Ultrasound, and Radiography techniques to ensure high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
+ Apply general knowledge of multiple NDT methods on aircraft and related components.
+ Analyze routine data and assist with standard corrective action recommendations.
+ Document and communicate test, analysis, or measurement results to customers through quality records and test reports.
+ Set up routine test or measurement equipment and perform routine tests.
+ Assist in documenting procedures and technique sheets for setting up test equipment.
Essential Skills
+ Recent NDI certification in Ultrasonic testing.
+ 5+ years of experience in NDT.
+ Ability to work variable shifts.
+ Experience with regulatory agencies such as DCMA, FAA, and/or Military.
+ Ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
+ Proficiency in Magnetic Particle, Penetrant, and Radiography methods.
+ Strong understanding of NDT principles and techniques.
+ Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
+ Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

+ Strong ethical standards with a desire to maintain a high level of quality.
+ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment
Work takes place in a military hangar, with the possibility of working any shift. The first shift operates Monday to Friday from 5:30am to 2:30pm, and the second shift from 2pm to 10:30pm. The environment is an open-bay, non-climate controlled setting. An annual $100 expense allowance is provided for Steel Toed Shoes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
