Job Title: Traveling Ice Rink Installation Technician – Must Have Construction Experience

**Location:** Based in St. Paul, MN – Extensive travel across the U.S.

**Work Environment:** On-site, indoor construction projects

About the Role:

Join a nationally recognized leader in ice arena construction and custom refrigeration systems. This entry-level technician role

offers hands-on experience building ice rinks across the country. You’ll be part of a team installing everything from piping and insulation to subfloor

systems. With 22 rinks scheduled for installation in 2026, this is a high-travel opportunity ideal for someone ready to work hard and grow with the

company.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Assist in full ice rink installations: pipe laying, sand grading, vapor barrier setup, insulation, and subfloor construction

+ Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively

+ Work collaboratively with crew members to meet project timelines

+ Maintain high standards of workmanship and reliability

Qualifications:

+ 6+ months of experience in construction, landscaping, concrete, or similar outdoor work

+ Comfortable using hand and power tools (e.g., tape measure, drills, saws)

+ Willing and able to travel for extended periods (2–3 weeks per job)

+ Reliable transportation

+ Willing to obtain a DOT physical card

Schedule:

+ Monday–Saturday

+ 10-hour days, 50–60 hours/week

+ Projects typically last 2–3 weeks

+ Interview is conversational with the owner, focused on reliability and long-term potential

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
