Job Title: Aerospace Inventory Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Specialist to manage inventory in a dynamic aerospace or automotive manufacturing environment. Your role will involve various aspects of inventory control, from managing cycle counts to ensuring the physical and digital storage of aerospace parts.

Responsibilities

+ Manage inventory control and cycle counts effectively.

+ Perform data entry related to inventory management.

+ Operate forklifts for shipping and receiving tasks.

+ Ensure quality control through inspection of received materials.

+ Handle material management, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials.

+ Conduct cycle counting using ERP systems and manage warehouse inventory.

+ Ensure accurate labelling of materials.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 2 years experience in aerospace or automotive manufacturing.

+ Forklift certification.

+ Valid CA Driver's License.

+ Proficient communication skills across multiple platforms including email and Slack.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

The position is based in a modern aerospace warehouse that is well-ventilated. The environment supports the use of advanced inventory management systems, and involves a combination of physical and digital tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Long Beach, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
