Forklift Operator- Weekly pay and OT!

Description

The majority of time will be spent on a boom lift or a forklift in the warehouse. They will receive trucks from distribution centers 3-4 times per week. The main duty is to help pack out job pack orders, ensuring everything is packed up correctly. They will load and unload shipments for distribution center, help load up customers, help job pack material and help with UPS pack outs. (In addition to forklift, they will be lifting tile or granite pieces all day long, carrying out material.)

- Safely operate the forklift/boom lift according to the methods and procedures

described during training.

- Safely handle slabs and to safely load and unload customer vehicles

according to branch-specific instructions and the material handling methods

described during training.

- Safely load and unload commercial and Company trucks, containers, and

trailers according to branch-specific instructions and the methods and

procedures described during training.

- Pull the correct slabs for orders and transfers; to stage or place the pulled

slabs in the correct location; and to handle the associated paperwork all

according to branch-specific procedures and the methods described during

training.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

They must have a safety oriented mindset, comfortable working with a 5000 pound forklift or boom lift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
