Job Title: Warehouse - Inventory

Job Description

This position is responsible for the facilitation and the timely release and closing of manufacturing orders to the warehouse floor for pick/packing and shipping. You will verify that manufacturing orders have parts in inventory before releasing orders for picking. Correct discrepancies and work hand in hand with the Warehouse Supervisor to facilitate the smooth and continuous flow of work to the warehouse personnel.

Responsibilities

+ Verify inventory and ensure parts are available before releasing manufacturing orders.

+ Facilitate timely release and closure of manufacturing orders for pick/packing and shipping.

+ Correct discrepancies on work orders promptly.

+ Maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with co-workers.

+ Communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of management.

+ Demonstrate a positive attitude when working with co-workers.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in warehouse operations, forklift operation, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.

+ Proficiency with SAP for inventory management.

+ Ability to work with FedEx shipping and receiving protocols.

+ Experience with packaging, packing, and pick and pack operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Minimum of 1 year of experience in similar roles at each company.

+ Ability to release and close approximately 300-400 manufacturing orders per week.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a campus with four buildings, featuring two locker rooms and a full gym available for use during breaks or before and after work. The assembly department operates as a line where employees work at a bench with all necessary tools provided. The team currently consists of over 30 members. The position operates on a 1st shift schedule from 6 am to 3:30 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Carpinteria, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
