Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Job Description

Join our team as a Quality Control Inspector where you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all incoming materials and components meet our high-quality standards before they are added to inventory. This position is ideal for someone with inspection experience, a familiarity with specifications, and a basic understanding of drawings.

Responsibilities

+ Serve as the first line of inspection for all materials before they are added to inventory.

+ Receive, inspect, and stock all incoming raw materials, components, and detail parts within a 24-hour window.

+ Ensure quality standards and conformance to purchase orders, engineering documents, and material specifications.

+ Use hand measurement tools such as scales, calipers, radius gauges, and pin gauges to satisfy product acceptance.

+ Prepare inspection and receiving documentation and complete necessary forms, such as the Inspection Plan.

+ Verify shipping labels, customer PO numbers, and shipment quantities against pack slips and requirements.

+ Visually inspect parts and packaging for accuracy and condition.

Essential Skills

+ At least 5 years of receiving experience in an in-house materials or inventory-based position.

+ Proficiency in using Excel, Word, and ERP systems.

+ Basic experience with hand measurement tools like tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
