Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated Grinder Operator for the 2nd Shift starting at 2:00 PM. The primary responsibilities include performing general labor duties, maintaining a clean shop environment, and using a hand grinder to smooth down welded aluminum panel boxes. The role involves removing excess weld material and rough edges to prepare the product for painting.

+ Remove excess weld material and rough edges to prepare products for painting.
+ Perform general labor duties as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in manufacturing labor or shop work.
+ Proficiency in using a hand grinder.
+ Ability to perform general labor tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Completion of an apprenticeship program or trade school.
+ Experience from welding school or in the automotive industry.
+ Prior experience as a degreaser or shop helper.

Work Environment
Work in a clean, but not climate-controlled shop alongside approximately 15 colleagues. Steel-toed boots and safety glasses are required attire.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norfolk, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
