Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk $19.94/hr Second Shift

Job Description

A Shipping and Receiving Clerk performs essential tasks related to the operation and maintenance of equipment within a battery recycling facility. The role involves ensuring high-quality product output, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety protocols. Key duties include operating machinery, moving finished products with forklifts, and complying with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

+ Operate and maintain machinery within the battery recycling facility.

+ Move finished products with the use of forklifts.

+ Ensure all safety and environmental protocols are followed.

+ Handle materials and products, moving them to and from production and sorting areas.

+ Assist with sorting and packaging different types of batteries and their components.

+ Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet standards and report any defects.

+ Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area and equipment.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in general production and machine operation.

+ Proficiency with hand tools.

+ Experience in shipping and receiving.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in general labor and construction.

+ Ability to handle materials and operate forklifts.

Work Environment

The role is based in a battery recycling facility where attention to safety and environmental protocols is paramount. Employees are expected to wear appropriate safety attire and operate equipment safely. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr.
