    Job Title: Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting basic hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and process problems with equipment as needed. This role involves working on conveyor lines, injection molding presses, blow molders, and other highly automated systems that produce thousands of plastic jars per shift. Preventative and corrective maintenance is essential to minimize line shutdowns.

    Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot basic hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and process issues with equipment.

    + Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to prevent line shutdowns.

    + Work on conveyor lines, injection molding presses, blow molders, and other automated systems.

    + Conduct electrical maintenance and troubleshooting using schematics and blueprints.

    Essential Skills

    + 3-5 years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.

    + Experience with hydraulics and conveyors.

    + Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting.

    + Knowledge of electrical maintenance and schematic reading.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with Siemens PLCs is a significant advantage.

    + Experience in a highly automated production environment is beneficial.

    Work Environment

     

    The work is performed on 2nd or 3rd shift, averaging 45 hours per week, with initial training on the first shift for about 4-6 months. The facility is very clean, organized, and climate-controlled, ensuring a comfortable environment throughout.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
