Medical Device Manufacturing Technician
Job Description
+ As a Manufacturing Technician, you will develop and maintain elements of production and maintenance activities while supporting various operations.
+ This role is categorized into four ascending levels, each demanding increasing technical knowledge, capability, responsibilities, and leadership.
Responsibilities
+ Read, comprehend, and execute procedures as written.
+ Perform facility cleaning, sanitation, and pest control, including critical cleaning and disinfection of Clean Room areas.
+ Maintain and clean pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment such as automated aseptic fill lines, washers, ovens, autoclaves, cooling systems, and WFI/Pure Steam generators.
+ Conduct general maintenance and monitoring activities of facility and equipment to ensure ongoing operations.
+ Support production tasks including carton assembly, part stocking, inventory, filing, and data entry.
+ Perform batch compounding.
+ Assist Engineering, QA, and on-site laboratories in various projects.
+ Ensure customer needs are satisfied and provide assistance wherever needed.
+ Pass and maintain qualification as an Aseptic Fill Operator for manual and automated processes.
+ Perform Main Operator and Assistant duties during automated aseptic fill processes.
+ Guide and train other technicians to accomplish training and operational goals.
+ Troubleshoot, evaluate, and repair equipment as directed by Facilities and Engineering personnel.
+ Achieve proficiency in performing critical aseptic machine setup and teardown procedures.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in cleanroom and aseptic environments.
+ Proficiency as an Aseptic Operator in pharmaceutical settings.
+ Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
+ Detail-oriented and proficient in Good Documentation Practices.
+ Strong communication skills to work effectively as a team member.
+ Ability to perform assigned production duties with flexibility and adaptability.
+ Understanding of FDA cGMP requirements (training provided).
+ Knowledge of ISO 9000 requirements (training provided).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Phase 1: Entry level position.
+ Phase 2: 1 to 3 years of experience as a Manufacturing Technician.
+ Phase 3: 3 to 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Technician.
+ Results-oriented with the ability to adapt to changing work priorities.

Work Environment
+ This role operates within a cleanroom environment.
+ The position requires physical activities such as bending, squatting, climbing, and lifting up to 75 pounds.
+ Technicians must wear personal protective equipment, including respirators, eye protection, and protective gowns or suits.

+ 1st shift- 8am to 5pm

+ This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Ana, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
