    **Location:** Woodinville, WA

    **Shift:** 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, M-Th

    **Pay:** $25-29/hr

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled painter who possesses the expertise to independently paint any product or parts. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading work orders and instructions, following safe work practices, organizing and prioritizing tasks, and inspecting equipment and materials. Additionally, they will operate mechanized devices and equipment, clean machinery, and apply various coatings and solvents. The role also involves mixing paint and ingredients according to specifications, masking vehicle bodies for painting, and training Painter I’s and Paint Preppers as necessary.

    Responsibilities

    + Paint any product or parts independently.

    + Follow all safe work practices diligently.

    + Operate mechanized devices and equipment efficiently.

    + Apply cleaning solvents, adhesives, caulking, sealants, or coatings.

    + Mask vehicle body in preparation for painting.

    + Distinguish and work with various colors.

    + Operate mix or blending machines and use hand or power tools.

    + Mix paint, ingredients, or chemicals according to specifications.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience painting large items such as garbage trucks or containers.

    + Proficient in using power tools, pneumatic wrenches, and grinders.

    + Ability to work independently.

    + Heavy-duty truck aptitude.

    + Strong organizational, communication, and phone skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Working knowledge of the welding process is helpful.

    + Demonstrates exceptional sales, customer service, and time management skills.

    + Ability to be extremely well-organized, resourceful, and self-motivated.

    + Ability to problem-solve and make appropriate business decisions with minimal guidance.

    Work Environment

     

    This position is based in a mechanic/machine shop. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times without assistance and be comfortable with bending, twisting, lifting, kneeling, crouching, stooping, crawling, standing, and walking at least 50% of the time. The role may require working in cramped spaces or awkward positions for short periods and withstanding temperature extremes, as some duties will be performed outdoors.

    This is a Contract position based out of Snohomish, Washington.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.
