Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Technician

Job Description

Responsibilities

+ Learn the business operations in assembly and production, as well as the machinery and equipment used.

+ Assist with mechanical and electrical breakdowns.

+ Utilize mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading knowledge to troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix maintenance-related issues.

+ Be open to learning and accepting feedback.

Essential Skills

+ Proficient in blueprint reading.

+ Use of all hand tools.

+ High mechanical aptitude.

+ Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

+ Mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Some experience in fabrication.

+ Some experience in pipefitting.

+ Some manual machine work experience.

+ Experience as a machine builder/mechanic.

+ Experience with machine wiring in an industrial setting.

Work Environment

Located in Fredricktown, OH, the facility is custom-made for capital equipment production, featuring departments like machining, assembly, weld/fabrication, paint, and engineering/design. The clean and safe environment requires PPE per OSHA standards. The role involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, and high noise levels. Employees must be comfortable working 50+ hour weeks, frequently standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of FREDERICKTOWN, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
