    Job Title: Reach Truck Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Reach Forklift Operator responsible for the storage and shipment of products. This role involves tasks such as putaway, order picking, replenishing, palletizing, cycle counts, and inventory control.

    Responsibilities

    + Consistently meet operational goals.

    + Be cross-trained in at least 50% of functional positions within the department.

    + Act as a backup for other departments in various functional roles.

    + Perform additional duties as assigned by the department Supervisor or lead.

    Essential Skills

    + Operate Raymond stand-up forklift safely and efficiently.

    + Read and understand work orders, including warehouse layout and product location.

    + Perform basic arithmetic operations, count accurately, and understand unit of measure conversions.

    + Prioritize tasks and think clearly under pressure.

    + Possess above average written and verbal communication skills.

    + Support team concepts and work collaboratively.

    + Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or GED preferred.

    + Certification to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers.

    + Experience operating equipment requiring manual dexterity, including using a hand-held scanner.

    + Capability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch regularly while performing duties.

    + Ability to lift, lower, and carry products up to a maximum of 75 pounds by hand.

    + 2+ years of experience in stand-up forklifts, material handling, and warehouse operations.

    The role is based in a warehouse/distribution environment, where safety, efficiency, and teamwork are paramount.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garner, North Carolina.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
