Job Title: Brake Operator

A metal fabrication shop in **Central Florida** is hiring **Brake Operators** to run shear and brake press machines. This is a great opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals looking to grow in a hands-on environment.

**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 1st Shift 7:30 AM to 4 PM

**Pay:** $18–$22/hr (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

+ Operate shear and brake press machines

+ Read shop drawings and measure materials accurately

+ Cut and form metal to spec using tape measure and fabrication tolerances

+ Change dies and locate materials as needed

Qualifications:

+ Experience with brake press or shear machines preferred

+ Ability to read a tape measure and blueprints

+ Mechanical aptitude and comfort with overhead cranes

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in fabrication.

+ Understanding of tolerances in manufacturing processes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
