Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate all CNC machining equipment. You will prepare and operate CNC Lathes and CNC Mills with minimal supervision, perform both simple and complex setups, change tools such as inserts, drills, and mills, and perform programming edits with verification through inspection methods. You will also be responsible for generating CNC programs using available CAM programming software, with a strong understanding of cutting feeds, speeds, and tool composition/application.
Responsibilities
+ Set up and operate CNC Lathes and CNC Mills.
+ Perform simple to complex setups and tool changes.
+ Execute programming edits and verify changes through inspection.
+ Generate CNC programs using CAM programming software.
+ Maintain a clean and safe working environment in all production areas, adhering to the 5 S's.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in operating and programming CNC machinery.
+ Experience with CAM programming, CAD software, and MasterCAM.
+ Ability to read and understand G Codes and blueprints.
+ Proficient in using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
+ Understanding of cutting feeds, speeds, and tool composition.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ 3-5 years of experience for Level 2 CNC positions.
+ 5 or more years of experience for Level 3 CNC positions.
+ Experience in writing CNC programs in a machining environment.
+ Preferred experience in the aerospace industry.

Work Environment
Work in a Phoenix-based facility with operations conducted indoors. The position requires a weekend shift, Friday through Sunday, from 5 AM to 5:30 PM. Enjoy a three-day workweek while being compensated for 40 hours.

This is a Permanent position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $76960.00/yr.
