Description
Electro-Mechanical Assemblers have a wide range of job responsibilities, including electrical and mechanical assembly.
Includes working with the Manufacturing Manager and Engineering in the design and development of new and custom product.
Work with the Manufacturing Manager on the assembly of standard product offerings.
This position is for a Electro-Mechanical Assembler where they will be given a blueprint, engineering drawing, bill of materials (BOM), need to go into the supply inventory to pull parts and then assemble systems to customer specifications.
They will be assembling brackets, fabricating items at certain times, running wires (no live wiring), running tubing and the test the system.
Responsibilities include bench top assembly and testing with the use of hand tools and light equipment.
We are looking for a skilled Assembler to connect parts into more complex components.
You will primarily be responsible for providing electromechanical assembly & test skills/expertise to participate in delivering quality products on-time to our customers.
The focus will be on maintaining quality as per the latest production standard, test procedures, and BOM accuracy.
Other important activities will include continuous improvement of our products and processes through cycle time & cost reduction.
Requirements:
Responsible for learning the operation of many different types of equipment. A partial list of the equipment includes: Electrical Meters and test equipment, soldering, drilling, hole-punching, de-burring, and general hand tools.
Establishing communications that will ensure product meets quality control standards and production schedules.
Constant effort towards improving set up and delivery times while maintaining high quality.
Reading blueprints and measuring tools to maintain production tolerances.
Programming and provisioning electronics.
Participation in the 20 keys program.
Accept any job that may be asked of him/her by a Manufacturing Manager, Shift Coordinator, or Team Support Coordinator.
Participating in cross training programs developed by the manager.
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Product assembly, testing, order filling and packing.
Job Requirements
• At least 2 years’ experience as an Assembler using hand tools and power tools, ideally in an electrical assembly role
• Ability to read a blueprint and read a tape measure
• Personality type needs to be a strong listener, taking directions, and asking questions (disqualifier would be someone with an overly aggressive or overly talkative
• Good work history and strong attendance record from previous jobs

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
