    **Aerotek Aviation** is seeking to hire a skilled Aircraft Avionics Technician to join our team in Hagerstown, MD. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing aircraft systems, including navigation, radio communications, weather radar systems, and other essential instruments. You will perform inspections, adjustments, and repairs to ensure the aircraft operates efficiently and safely.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Repair, maintain, and install systems used for aircraft navigation and radio communications.

    • Perform inspections and make necessary adjustments and repairs to aircraft systems.

    • Replace components and correct any malfunctions or deficiencies with and without power applied to aircraft.

    • Conduct aircraft maintenance in accordance with applicable technical data, SOPs, and FAA regulations.

    • Utilize wire harness fabrication skills for heavy modification and avionics installation.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to aircraft electrical systems.

    Must have Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in aircraft installation and troubleshooting.

    • Experience with wire harness building and fabrication.

    • Proficiency in working in MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) facilities.

    • Must have tools etched and shadowed.

    • Eligible for security clearance.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $46.00 - $48.00/hr.
