Job Title: Warehouse Worker Pay: $19/ hour

Job Description

This position involves working in a general warehouse environment where you will be responsible for picking tires to prepare them for shipping and organizing truck loads as they arrive. You will handle tasks such as pulling tires off pallets, scanning for DOT information, and placing them on a conveyor belt for shipment. Future responsibilities may include operating a cherry picker to manage tires and move pallets, and potentially learning to operate a forklift, though this will not occur immediately.

Responsibilities

+ Pick and prepare tires for shipping.

+ Organize and store incoming truck loads.

+ Pull tires off pallets and scan for DOT information.

+ Place tires on a conveyor belt for shipment.

+ Operate cherry picker to pick tires and move pallets.

+ Engage in cross-training across areas such as Customer Pick up, Shipping, Mount and Balance, and shrink wrapping.

Essential Skills

+ Warehouse experience of at least 6 months.

+ Experience working in a fast-paced environment for over 6 months.

+ Ability to lift 60 pounds repetitively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Proficiency with RF scanners.

+ Experience as an Order Picker.
