Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

This role involves overseeing all electrical repair and maintenance of process and building equipment, such as pumps, temperature controllers, and mechanical equipment. The technician will assist in the completion, implementation, and management of the Preventative Maintenance Program and perform preventative maintenance on all machines and building equipment. The role requires testing and repairing issues on both high and low voltage electrical and electronic circuits and systems.

Seeking a Maintenance Technician as well as a Lead Maintenance Technician:

Open Pay Rate: $30 - $45/hr

Responsibilities

+ Perform all electrical repairs and maintenance on process and building equipment.

+ Assist in managing the Preventative Maintenance Program.

+ Conduct preventative maintenance on machines and building equipment according to the program.

+ Test and repair problems on high and low voltage electrical and electronic circuits and systems.

+ Read, interpret, modify, and implement technical information from manuals, electrical drawings, blueprints, P&IDs, and maintenance procedures.

+ Comply with all company health, safety, and environmental procedures and policies.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and preventive maintenance.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.

+ Skilled in PLC troubleshooting, industrial welding, HVAC, plumbing, and fabrication.

+ Experience with electrical components such as 3-phase motors, relays, and PLCs.

+ Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical systems.

+ Experience using power tools and equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Extensive knowledge of primary and secondary power systems, motors, switch gears, electrical panels, and lighting systems.

+ Flexibility with work hours, including off-shift and weekends as needed.

+ Knowledge and experience with motor control.

Work Environment

The position spans six different buildings, requiring the technician to have their own tools with a secured area provided for tool storage.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport Beach, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
