Job Title: Maintenance Specialist
Job Description
As a Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems. You will troubleshoot equipment issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure the general upkeep of company trucks and equipment. This role includes working with outside vendors for specialized repairs and keeping the workspace clean, safe, and organized. Additionally, you will use hand and power tools, drive pickups with trailers, and perform basic computer tasks. The position also involves warehouse operations such as moving materials, receiving and organizing inventory, packaging and shipping orders, and assisting with product installations.
Responsibilities
+ Fix and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems.
+ Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform preventive maintenance.
+ Perform general upkeep on company trucks and equipment.
+ Work with outside vendors for specialized repairs.
+ Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
+ Use hand and power tools to repair or replace parts.
+ Drive pickups with trailers to haul tools and parts.
+ Use a computer for basic tasks.
+ Move materials for shipping and receiving.
+ Inspect and organize inventory.
+ Package and ship orders.
+ Maintain accurate records and invoices.
+ Assist with product installations and light assembly.
+ Drive company vehicles for deliveries if you have a good driving record.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in maintenance, mechanical repair, and warehouse work.
+ Strong mechanical skills and tool knowledge.
+ Basic computer and inventory system skills.
+ Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Forklift certification and knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification is a plus).
+ Positive attitude and reliable attendance.
+ Ability to pass a drug test.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fargo, North Dakota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
