Job Title: Production Operator

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Production Operator, where you will play a vital role in our fast-paced production environment. As a machine assistant, you will be responsible for collecting cardboard from the end of the machines, inspecting boxes using a tape measure, and assisting in various areas of the production floor. You will be constantly moving and lifting, ensuring a smooth workflow. During slower periods, your initiative in taking on additional tasks like sweeping will be valued.

Responsibilities

+ Collect cardboard at the end of machines and stack efficiently.

+ Inspect boxes using a tape measure to ensure quality standards.

+ Assist in different areas of the production floor as needed.

+ Operate in a fast-paced environment, constantly moving and lifting.

+ Work in the baler room, collecting excess materials and managing them appropriately.

Essential Skills

+ At least 1 year of experience in production or manufacturing.

+ Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.

+ Proficiency in reading a tape measure to the 1/8 of an inch.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in running gluer machines.

Work Environment

You will work the 2nd shift from 2pm to 10pm in a non-climate controlled facility. While the environment is clean and comfortable in the winter, it can become warm during summer months due to machinery. The dress code includes wearing steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Caledonia, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
