Job Title: HVAC Service Technician
Job Description
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues efficiently and accurately. You will perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on both residential and commercial HVAC systems, ensuring all work complies with local codes and manufacturer specifications.
Responsibilities
+ Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues efficiently and accurately.
+ Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on residential and commercial HVAC systems.
+ Install HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and thermostats.
+ Ensure all installations and repairs comply with local codes and manufacturer specifications.
+ Communicate effectively with customers regarding service issues, solutions, and system operations.
+ Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
+ Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service requests.
+ Keep company vehicle and tools clean, organized, and well-maintained.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or HVAC certification preferred.
+ Minimum 2–3 years of HVAC service experience, including installation work.
+ EPA Certification required; additional certifications (e.g., NATE) a plus.
+ Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical components, and controls.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
+ Excellent customer service and communication skills.
+ Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Work Environment
Work in a dynamic environment where you will be part of an on-call rotation for emergency service requests. Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle and use tools that are well-maintained. A long-distance commute may require negotiation.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $35.00/hr.
