Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Inspector to ensure the highest quality standards of our products. You will be responsible for utilizing advanced measurement techniques and equipment to perform detailed inspections.
Responsibilities
+ Perform inspections using precision measurement equipment and devices.
+ Utilize calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, optical comparators, gauge pins, and gauge blocks effectively.
+ Write programs for CMM and video measurement equipment based on parts and specification drawings.
+ Run products on CMMs, interpret results, and determine product conformity.
+ Summarize quality control data and report results to management.
+ Document nonconforming products in accordance with company directives.
+ Perform AS9102 FAI's and complete related documentation.
+ Apply basic statistical techniques for evaluating measurement data and trending.
+ Support communication of findings to the production floor with a basic understanding of machining processes.
+ Drive safety practices within the organization.
+ Complete all other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Strong working knowledge of metrology and measurement techniques.
+ Experience in applying GD&T to complete inspection activities.
+ Ability to work independently without supervisory input.
+ High School diploma required.
+ Must be a US person.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Some technical related training is preferred.
+ Experience with CMM and Zeiss Calypso is advantageous.
+ Six Sigma knowledge is beneficial.

Work Environment
This role offers flexibility with two shifts available: 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 7am-3:30pm, and 2nd shift from Monday to Friday, 3pm-11:30pm. The work environment is equipped with advanced inspection technology, and safety is a top priority.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Libertyville, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
