    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as food prep worker where you will engage in packing produce, as well as cutting vegetables and fruits, in a refrigerated setting. This role requires the ability to use a pallet jack and perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.

    Responsibilities

    + Pack produce and cut vegetables and fruits in a refrigerated environment.

    + Utilize a pallet jack for loading and unloading tasks.

    + Deliver, load, and unload items efficiently.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in loading and unloading in a warehouse setting.

    + Ability to operate a pallet jack.

    + Capable of standing for long periods.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Prior experience in a production or packing environment is advantageous.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The role involves working in a refrigerated warehouse where temperatures are kept low to ensure product quality. The schedule is Saturday through Wednesday from 6 AM to 3:30 PM with a requirement for significant overtime. Employees must attend a departmental tour prior to starting. The environment demands standing for extended periods and involves physical tasks such as heavy lifting.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
