Job Title: Materials Handler
Job Description
Join our team as a Materials Handler, specializing in the aluminum Fencing department. You will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement and inspection of products, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy in our warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
+ Remove products from the production area and stage them for shipping.
+ Inspect products to ensure there are no defects and verify they match specific orders.
+ Match products to orders and pack them according to customer specifications.
+ Load products onto skids using a sit-down forklift and load trucks.
+ Place protective materials like cardboard to prevent damage during shipping.
+ Perform basic light assembly of parts as required.
+ Accurately count products to ensure shipments are complete and correct.
+ Assist in other departments as needed.
+ Operate a hand jack to move both empty and loaded skids.
+ Load/unload push carts and move them to various production or staging areas.
+ Enter and remove items from inventory, which may require paper and computer documentation.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with production, assembly, and inspection processes.
+ Proficiency in packing, loading, and general labor tasks.
+ Ability to operate a sit-down forklift and hand tools.
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Basic packing and loading skills.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

This is a Contract position based out of New Holland, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $19.25/hr.
