Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a dynamic manufacturing company in Irving, Texas. This Contract-to-permanent position offers a great opportunity to contribute to vital accounting functions while working closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders. The role will focus on managing customer accounts, ensuring timely payments, and supporting credit and collections activities.

Responsibilities:

• Process and review credit applications, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.

• Set up and maintain customer accounts, updating records as needed to ensure accuracy.

• Issue credit memos and resolve related customer inquiries or discrepancies.

• Investigate and resolve outstanding credit issues through effective communication with customers and internal teams.

• Monitor account activity to manage credit holds and facilitate timely approvals or releases.

• Collaborate with sales representatives and other internal departments to address account issues and improve collections processes.

• Maintain and organize files for invoices, credit documentation, and other related records.

• Manage Salesforce cases related to customer accounts, ensuring timely resolution of credit concerns.

• Update unapplied payment reports, proactively addressing inconsistencies to ensure accurate records.

• Process lien release requests and provide support for sworn statements of account. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable or credit and collections, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of cash applications, credit management, and reconciliation processes.

• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems for managing customer accounts and cases.

• Proficiency in handling credit applications and resolving discrepancies.

• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external customers.

• Effective organizational skills to maintain accurate and accessible financial records.

• Experience with tax-exempt certificates and specialized customer documentation.

• Proficiency in Infor or similar accounting software tools.
