Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Belton, Missouri. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in financial management and strategic planning, supporting multiple business functions. This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to advance their career and grow into a leadership role, such as a Controller.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Manage and approve check runs while maintaining compliance with company policies.

• Partner with leadership on budgeting and forecasting to drive business strategies.

• Act as the finance lead for working capital management and treasury operations.

• Conduct audits of financial contracts and support the implementation of best practices.

• Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure journal entries are accurately recorded.

• Perform detailed account and bank reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.

• Develop and improve processes to enhance operational efficiency.

• Support the transition to new financial systems and ensure smooth implementation. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience with month-end close and general ledger management.

• Strong knowledge of journal entries and account reconciliation processes.

• Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

• Experience with treasury operations and working capital management.

• Detail-oriented approach and ability to collaborate across multiple roles and departments.

• Proficiency in financial software and tools, with NetSuite experience being an advantage.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
