Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting various accounting functions. Your expertise in construction-related accounting and billing processes will be essential to ensuring seamless operations.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

• Perform precise data entry to maintain financial records and documentation.

• Handle invoice processing and ensure timely payments to vendors.

• Collaborate on accounting tasks related to commercial construction projects.

• Manage AIA billing processes and prepare required documentation.

• Support the accounting team by reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.

• Generate financial reports and provide key insights to support decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

• Assist in tracking expenses and budget allocations for construction projects.

• Contribute to streamlining accounting procedures for improved efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

• Familiarity with invoice processing and financial documentation.

• Knowledge of commercial construction project accounting practices.

• Experience with AIA billing and related documentation.

• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

• Proficiency in accounting software and tools.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
