Description
We are looking for an experienced HR Director to join our team on a 100% onsite basis in North Hills, California. This is a long-term contract to hire opportunity within the non-profit sector, offering the chance to lead critical HR initiatives and drive positive organizational outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, compliance expertise, and a dedication to fostering a supportive and collaborative workplace environment.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of employee performance and behavioral issues to provide effective guidance and recommendations.
• Lead investigations into workplace complaints and concerns with integrity and a resolution-focused mindset.
• Collaborate with managers across the organization to improve employee relations, mitigate risks, and enhance workplace culture.
• Ensure compliance and alignment with organizational policies through the review and oversight of HR team activities.
• Provide direction and feedback to HR staff to ensure processes are legally compliant and strategically effective.
• Uphold company policies and procedures while maintaining consistency across all HR functions.
• Deliver administrative and clerical support to the HR department as needed.
• Utilize technology tools and software systems for efficient HR operations.
• Take on additional HR-related duties to support organizational goals.
Requirements • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
• Strong presentation abilities tailored to diverse audiences.
• Proven experience conducting investigations and applying due diligence in assessing workplace issues.
• Solid knowledge of HR practices, principles, and employment laws.
• Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills with a strategic approach to problem-solving.
• Proficiency in using various software tools and web-based platforms.
• Sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential matters.
