Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Wilmington, Massachusetts. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial transactions, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate records. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounts receivable processes and a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Process and record accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.

• Apply cash payments to customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies.

• Manage commercial collections activities, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding invoices.

• Generate and review billing statements for accuracy and completeness.

• Monitor cash activity and prepare related reports for stakeholders.

• Investigate and resolve payment issues or disputes with clients.

• Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounts receivable processes.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role.

• Proficiency in cash applications and managing payment reconciliations.

• Strong knowledge of commercial collections processes.

• Familiarity with billing functions and related documentation.

• Ability to analyze and monitor cash activity effectively.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.

• Proficiency in relevant financial software and tools.
