Description

We are looking for a Account Manager to join our team in Thomson, Georgia. This Contract-to-Permanent position is ideal for someone who thrives on delivering exceptional customer experiences and is skilled in managing client relationships. The role involves handling customer inquiries, assisting with orders, and contributing to sales efforts, all while ensuring high levels of satisfaction and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer inquiries and provide prompt, accurate information to resolve issues effectively.

• Assist clients with order placement, tracking, and fulfillment while ensuring timely delivery.

• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions using CRM software.

• Collaborate with internal sales and production teams to communicate customer needs and ensure seamless service.

• Develop and nurture relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships.

• Proactively seek out new business opportunities through research, cold calling, and lead generation.

• Support billing functions by verifying accuracy and addressing any discrepancies.

• Coordinate logistics and order fulfillment processes to meet customer expectations and deadlines.

• Partner with Regional Sales Managers to increase account profitability and drive sales growth.

• Contribute to team goals by actively participating in the development of the additives and chemicals division.

Requirements

• Proven experience in customer service, ideally within sales, parts, or additives industries.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to de-escalate conflicts and relay client needs effectively.

• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas.

• Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls professionally.

• Demonstrated attention to detail and reliability in managing tasks.

• Experience in account management and sales processes.

• Skilled in identifying and addressing complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Adept at prospecting and securing new business opportunities.
