    Job Title: Business Analyst – Configuration Management

     

    Contract Role: 6 Months

     

    Employment Type: Contract

    Overview:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Business Analyst to support Configuration Management initiatives. This role is focused on the seamless, rapid, and global implementation of components, BOMs (Bill of Materials), documents, and other product data that align with business strategies and supply chain requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Create and manage product BOMs and process change orders using a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.

    + Ensure timely part setup, BOM releases, and changes to support New Product Introduction (NPI) and ongoing operations.

    + Collaborate cross-functionally to understand requirements and develop functional designs and configurations.

    + Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on systems, reporting, and data analysis.

    + Support the creation of data center physical space parts within the PLM system.

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications:

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s degree required (preferred fields: Engineering, Automotive, Manufacturing).

    Experience:

    + 5+ years of experience with BOMs and PLM systems.

    + 5+ years of proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

    + 5+ years of exposure to project management software.

    Knowledge Areas:

    + Basic understanding of PLM systems.

    + Mid-level knowledge of supply chain processes.

    + Familiarity with Agile methodology.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience with data center equipment.

    + Prior experience in large-scale tech environments is a plus.
