Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team in South Boston, Virginia. In this position, you will play a critical role in managing billing operations and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions. Responsibilities:

• Generate accurate billing statements and invoices in a timely manner.

• Monitor and track billing collections to ensure payments are received promptly.

• Maintain and update records within the computerized billing system.

• Resolve billing discrepancies by investigating and addressing issues with invoices or collections.

• Communicate with clients and internal departments regarding billing matters.

• Assist in preparing financial reports related to billing activities.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all billing processes.

• Collaborate with team members to improve billing workflows and identify areas for process enhancements.

• Provide support during audits by organizing and presenting necessary billing documentation. Requirements • Proven experience in billing functions, including creating and managing invoices.

• Familiarity with billing collections and financial tracking.

• Proficiency in using computerized billing systems.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.

• Ability to resolve billing issues with professionalism and efficiency.

• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in billing practices.
