Description We are looking for an experienced Cost Accounting Manager to join our team in South El Monte, California. In this role, you will oversee cost accounting operations, ensuring precision in financial reporting and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of cost accounting, including standard cost analysis and reporting.

• Develop and implement effective inventory control systems, ensuring accurate tracking and valuation using FIFO principles.

• Conduct thorough cost analysis to identify trends and optimize financial performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cost accounting practices with organizational goals.

• Ensure compliance with government contract requirements and industry regulations, particularly within the aerospace sector.

• Utilize SAP software to streamline cost accounting processes and maintain accurate financial data.

• Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs to support budgeting and forecasting efforts.

• Provide detailed financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

• Train and mentor team members on cost accounting methodologies and systems.

• Prepare and present detailed reports on cost accounting metrics to leadership. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within the manufacturing sector.

• Expertise in standard cost accounting and cost analysis.

• Proficiency in SAP software for financial and cost accounting processes.

• Strong understanding of FIFO inventory control principles.

• Familiarity with government contracts and compliance requirements, particularly in aerospace.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
