Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior IT Project Manager to join our team in Southern California. In this long-term contract role, you will oversee critical projects, drive innovation and ensuring seamless execution across multiple business functions. This position requires a strong leader with technical expertise, strategic vision, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams. This role will be onsite 80% of the time.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of the Dealer Communication System across various business domains.

• Provide governance and oversight to ensure projects align with strategic objectives, budget constraints, and timeline commitments.

• Build and manage high-performing teams comprising internal staff, contingent workers, and vendor partners.

• Collaborate with departments such as Sales, Parts, Service, Finance, and IT to achieve successful project outcomes.

• Create and present executive-level dashboards, proposals, and presentations to stakeholders.

• Monitor and control project budgets, forecasts, and financial metrics to ensure adherence to approved funding.

• Utilize tools like Confluence and Clarity for project tracking, documentation, and portfolio reporting.

• Coordinate with Enterprise Architecture and Infrastructure teams to support modernization and re-platforming efforts.

• Manage phased rollouts of dealer capabilities, including warranty claims, parts ordering, and service contracts.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• 5-8 years of experience in project management, utilizing both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

• 5-8 years of technical management experience, including working with mobile, web, and service-based solutions.

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage vendors, and engage stakeholders effectively.

• Strong skills in strategic planning, governance, and tactical execution to support organizational goals.

• Proficiency in clear and concise writing and delivering management-level presentations.

• Experience working with enterprise organizations such as Legal, Procurement, and Enterprise Architecture.

• Familiarity with dealer automotive systems and cloud-native technologies. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
