Infrastructure and AI Solution Architect

Job Summary

As a senior-level IT professional you will be responsible for designs and oversee the implementation of robust, scalable, and secure technology infrastructures that specifically support artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) initiatives. This role requires a unique blend of traditional infrastructure expertise and cutting-edge AI knowledge. You will act as a bridge between data scientists, ML engineers, Application teams, Infrastructure teams and business stakeholders, translating business needs into technical requirements and architectural blueprints and solutions.

As an Infrastructure and AI Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological foundation of our organization. You will design forward-thinking infrastructure strategies that balance innovation with stability, ensuring our systems are robust and future ready. This position demands both visionary thinking and practical expertise, as you will guide the evolution of our IT environment, championing efficiency, security, and adaptability. Working at the intersection of emerging technology and business needs, you will be instrumental in driving Infrastructure and AI solutions that the business will leverage and implement

This hybrid role combines enterprise-level infrastructure architecture expertise with hands-on AI/ML research and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure and AI Architecture

+ Design and implement scalable, resilient cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions

+ Define technical architecture standards, patterns, and best practices across multi-cloud and on-prem environments

+ Design and implement scalable, resilient enterprise AI solutions

+ Develop comprehensive architectural blueprints for AI systems, including data pipelines, model training and deployment, and integration with existing IT infrastructure.

+ Create a strategic plan for how the Camping World’s infrastructure will evolve to meet future AI and ML needs, focusing on scalability, cost-effectiveness, and performance.

+ Provide tools recommendation for AI and what direction the company should go with

+ Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives and digital transformation projects

+ Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize system performance, security, and cost efficiency

+ Research and develop standards, and tools for AI usage and implementation

+ Meet with vendors and develop solutions that meet the organization requirements

+ Meet with application and business units to develop robust infrastructure solutions and ai tools enablement solutions

+ Maintain infrastructure solutions technology standards

+ Work on infrastructure and AI roadmaps and strategy

+ Develop infrastructure and AI architectural blueprints and detailed documentation

+ Develop long term IT infrastructure and AI strategies aligned with business needs

+ Monitor systems and suggest improvements proactively

+ Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools

+ Perform capacity planning and futureproofing

+ Work closely with business leaders, project managers, developers, and operations teams

+ Translate business requirements into technical solutions

+ Provide technical leadership and mentoring to infrastructure teams and application teams

+ Develop and maintain technical drawings for infrastructure and AI solutions

+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to data scientists, ML engineers, and other development teams, ensuring they follow architectural best practices.

+ Work closely with business and product stakeholders to understand their goals and translate them into a viable, technical AI solutions.

+ Communicate complex technical concepts and project progress to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership

+ Implement design and solutions to enable AI enterprise-wide.

Cross-Functional Leadership

+ Bridge the gap between research innovation and practical infrastructure and AI implementation

+ Provide technical leadership and mentorship to infrastructure, engineering and application teams

+ Partner with product management to align infrastructure capabilities with AI objectives

+ Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies for both infrastructure and AI applications

+ Work closely with Cyber Security team to make sure security requirements are implemented in all infrastructure and AI solutions

Education

+ Masters/bachelor’s degree in information & computer science

+ 7+ years of technical hands-on Infrastructure Architecture support.

+ 5+ years of leading and managing teams.

+ 5+ years of previous Infrastructure hands-on technical support

+ 3+ years of Customer Service and Technical Leadership

+ 2+ years of experience in AI tool and support

+ 2+ years of developing and deploying Enterprise AI solutions

Qualifications

+ Strong understanding of infrastructure and networking.

+ Strong understanding of AI tools and technologies for enterprise use

+ Strong troubleshooting skills for cloud and on-prem infrastructure.

+ Strong experience in implementing and managing infrastructure solutions architectures

+ Strong Experience in deploying AI Architecture Enterprise wide

+ Experience in successfully deploying infrastructure solutions designs

+ Experience in successfully deploying Enterprise AI solutions designs

+ Experience in supporting infrastructure, cloud and AI tools

+ Experience and ability to effectively communicate complex technical solutions to C suite executives

+ Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and AI concepts. Experience with model training, deployment (MLOps), and management.

+ Extensive experience with one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including their specific AI/ML and big data services.

+ Understanding of how technology solutions impact business goals, and the ability to balance technical feasibility with business realities

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between technical and business teams

+ Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and guiding technical projects from concept to completion

+ Strong infrastructure solution architecture experience in a diverse and large-scale enterprise environment.

+ Strong decision making and operational skill.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Proven track record of infrastructure solution architecture designs

+ Have excellent problem-solving skills utilizing both internal and external resources to get the job done. Work through issues and challenges.

+ Deep knowledge of networking, servers, storage, and virtualization

+ Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and GCP

+ Experience in implementing secure infrastructure and AI designs

+ Self-starter and motivator and ability to work in team and solo

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between technical and business teams

Pay Range:

$158,655.00-$231,420.00 Annual
