Job Description
We are looking for a **Product Manager** to manage research and development activities relating to the design and development of software or hardware products and qualification or re-qualification of new and existing products. This position will be a **full-time contract** role and onsite in **Tallahassee, Florida** .
What You’ll Do
+ Manage research and development activities relating to the design and development of software or hardware products and qualification or re-qualification of new and existing products
+ Work with a cross-functional team to ensure fulfillment of product requirements, evaluate product performance, and transition products from development to commercialization
+ Assist in determining product delivery and deployment dates for new product releases, feature and maintenance releases, and regular corrective service or service pack releases
+ Act as a technical consultant to the product organization and lead research and prototyping of innovative technologies and products
+ Ensure the technology and architectural roadmap of engineering is properly aligned with and supports the product/business roadmap
+ Act as a customer liaison on technical issues related to product integration, custom development, and requirements
+ Lead major releases, ensure feature enhancements, and respond to customer requests
+ Deliver products by managing schedules and tasks related to all aspects of product development
What You'll Need
Required:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related field, OR equivalent work experience
+ A minimum of 7 years of high-tech industry, product engineering, and/or IT work experience, including experience with managing team(s) responsible for software and hardware design, engineering, and development functions
+ Experience managing research and developing activities relating to the design and development of software or hardware products and qualification or re-qualification of new and existing products
+ Experience working with a cross-functional team to ensure fulfillment of product requirements, evaluating product performance, and transitioning products from development to commercialization
+ Experience assisting in determining product delivery and deployment dates for new product releases, feature and maintenance releases, and regular corrective service or service pack releases
+ Experience acting as a technical consultant to the product organization, leading research, and prototyping of innovative technologies and products
+ Experience ensuring the technology and architectural roadmap of engineering is properly aligned with and supports the product/business roadmap
+ Experience acting as a customer liaison on technical issues related to product integration, custom development, and requirements
+ Experience leading major releases, ensuring feature enhancements, and responding to customer requests
+ Experience in product delivery, managing schedules, and tasks related to all aspects of product development
+ Highly proficient in both spoken and written English
Preferred:
+ Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
+ Able to work onsite in Tallahassee, Florida
Physical Demands
+ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards.
+ Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
+ Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
